Nurtured by Nature

Brian P. Hutchinson

Working as a youth counsellor, a mediator, and facilitator within non-profits and government, I noticed things such a chronic stress, depression, anxiety, and fatigue (among others) was becoming more and more prevalent. Spending time in nature has saved my life in many ways and is a vital tool to stay grounded. Now i am hoping to share this with others.

Living in a tiny home on beautiful Lake Cowichan, the valley offers more and more adventures to explore, and deepen my practice. My mission is to show a different side of the world to my clients, and to help them gain a better and deeper understanding of what it means to feel connected. I will simply be the guide, the forest is the therapist.

In my spare time, I enjoy trail running, rock climbing, playing music, and essentially spending time in nature. Always on the lookout for the elusive Sasquatch! ;)

I would like to extend my sincere gratitude to Ts'uubaa-asatx First Nation that have lived around the shores of Cowichan Lake for millennia. As i work and play on these lands, I carry the utmost respect and give thanks.
